We've developed this online questionnaire to simplify the estimating process and deliver fast, accurate estimates over email.
Due to high demand, we are currently averaging 2 months turn around time for most residential customers. We can occasionally handle rush jobs but our capacity for that is limited.
Leather reconditioning/dyeing/scratch repair. For this we recommend Fibrenew Asheville.
Wicker/Rattan/Cane chair seats. For this we recommend Silver River Center for Chair Caning.
Partial upholstery - It is generally impossible to replace part of an upholstered piece. Usually it requires a full reupholstery.
We only strip paint and finishes as part of a refinishing project. We don't strip paint from architectural woodwork (entry doors, fence posts). We do not have a dip tank and aren't able to strip lead paint.
We are unable to service recliners. For that we recommend that you contact the manufacturer or retailer.
Before you go any further, take some pictures. You'll be asked to upload them later.
If there are multiple pieces, make sure to get pictures of them all. What's most helpful is to take a wide shot of the whole piece, and then closeups of any damage or broken areas.
The method that most clients opt for is to drop off and pick up from our shop in West Asheville. We are located at: 227B Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806
We have flexible hours, and can accommodate most schedules including evenings and weekends. However, we are a small operation, so drop-offs and pickups are by appointment only.
After you've accepted the estimate we'll set up a time for you to stop by.
We offer pickup and delivery service at an additional charge for clients who are unable to get their furniture to us.
Most of our work is done in our shop. But some jobs need to be done on location, either because they can't be moved at all (kitchen cabinets) or because moving is more trouble than it's worth (huge pieces with very minor damage.)
For an additional charge we can accommodate working on-site.
Please describe as well as you can what needs to be done. Make sure to include the number of pieces.
For anything involving cushions, please include dimensions of the cushions and whether they're removable.
We told you that you'd need them. Please upload one or more photos that show what you need fixed.

Soon you'll receive a detailed estimate via email. We receive a large volume of estimate requests, and it sometimes takes time to get together prices, especially for more complicated jobs. Therefore it's not unusual for us to take several days to a week to send out an estimate.
Once you accept the estimate we'll get you in our schedule and set everything up.
